Family Hike

Family Hike

Join us for a slow, scenic family hike along the Sacramento River.

We will learn how to use a compass, practice using a map, and sketch our observations. All ages welcome. The path is paved or graded — so feel free to bring a stroller or wagon. No registration required but RSVP so we can make sure we have enough activity supplies.

We will meet at 10:00 and plan to start walking at 10:15. Shade is varied along the path, so wear sunscreen and hats and bring water and snacks. Total round trip is about 2 miles and should take around an hour and half.  There are several yummy restaurants nearby for lunch afterwards too, our favorite is Sal's Tacos!
