Wiggle Worms Nature Play

Wiggle Worms is a free outdoor play program for young children and their caregivers. Each session encourages children to explore, create, move, and learn through hands-on nature play.

The program is designed primarily for young children and their caregivers, but siblings are always welcome!

Families can expect a relaxed, child-led experience with a variety of activities such as:

• Nature exploration

• Sensory play

• Open-ended art and creativity

• Music and movement

• Storytime

• Gross motor play

• Opportunities to build friendships and connect with other families

Children are free to explore activities at their own pace.

Nope! Families can simply show up and join the fun. We will ask for families to sign-in when they arrive.

• Comfortable clothes that can get messy

• Weather appropriate layers (hat, sunglasses, rain boots, rain jacket, etc)

• Closed-toe shoes

• Water bottle

• Snacks or picnic meals always welcome

• A sense of adventure!

That's perfectly okay! Every child participates differently. Activities are always optional, and children are encouraged to engage in whatever feels comfortable for them.

Research shows that outdoor play supports healthy development, creativity, problem-solving, physical activity, language development, and social-emotional skills. Wiggle Worms gives children the time and space to learn through play while helping families build meaningful connections with their community.
