Let’s get outside and play!

Wiggle Worms Nature Play is a free, outdoor play program for young children and their caregivers. Come explore, create, get messy, and connect with nature and other families in your neighborhood.

Each session is a little different and may include open-ended nature play, art, simple science and STEM activities, songs, stories, sensory play, and outdoor exploration. There’s no firm schedule to follow and no pressure to participate in everything, kids are free to play, explore, and follow their curiosity.

Wiggle Worms is designed with ages 1–9 in mind, but babies and siblings are always welcome.

No registration, just show up and play! Donations are always appreciated and help us keep Wiggle Worms free for families.

A few things to know: Dress for active play and clothes that can handle a little dirt, water, paint, or mud. Wiggle Worms is not a drop-off program, so a caregiver must remain with children throughout the session. And grown-ups—you’re welcome to bring your coffee and a camp chair and settle in while the kids play.

Come as you are. Stay as long as you’d like. Let’s get outside and play.

West Sacramento Wiggle Worms is supported in part by the West Sacramento Foundation.
